About Pagan Tatu | Edmonton Custom Tattoo Shop

Pagan Tatu was founded in 1996 when Dave Paskevich and Sean Tracy parted company with a former mentor. They opened the first shop on Edmonton's Whyte avenue, that old friends will remember as the "gothic" shop, with black walls and skeletons included for good measure. 2003 saw them move into the present locale at 8604 - 99 st., where the atmosphere is relaxed and creatively charged. The building has some history, and it has proved to be an effective stage for the performance of artful, inventive tattooing.

The aim back then, as it is today, is to provide a tattoo service that is defined not by the limits of trend or tradition, but a tattoo experience akin to commissioning work from an artisan who will be capable of translating your design ideas into expressive, tasteful imagery that you will be proud to keep for life.

We are well versed in almost all the facets of modern tattoo design, as well as having a firm base in the classic styles. Our facilities are comfortable, safe and discreet.

Our shop is a mature environment, where we place an emphasis on serving the serious tattoo collector and other free thinkers who want to explore the tattoo process in a thoughtful way.

On occasion, we undertake some professional illustration and design projects, but these services are not part of our regular business, and may not always be available.

Please browse the galleries and see some of what we offer. While perhaps inspiring, the tattoos found there are now part of the individuals wearing them, so please respect their ownership and allow us to develop a unique design for you.

Thank you,

The Pagan Tatu crew
